The training division of Blue Ridge Safety and Health is an American Safety and Health Institute-approved training site. This approval allows the company to offer certified classes in CPR, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens, and Automatic External Defibrillator. Most workplaces can meet educational safety needs by combining First Aid and CPR. Since 1999, the company has overseen a steady growth in the number of companies in which these classes have been offered. Currently, over one hundred companies contract with Blue Ridge Safety and Health to obtain their safety training needs.

As distributors for Zoll Medical, Blue Ridge Safety and Health is able to offer workplace sites a means to improve the chances of victim survival from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. The Zoll AED Plus is a new generation of defibrillators that can essentially increase victim survival rates by utilizing the public access concept. Having a Zoll AED Plus means that from the time someone experiences cardiac arrest until someone within the workplace applies the defibrillator can be less than three minutes. This quick response has been shown to significantly improve the victim survival rate. Becoming a distributor for Zoll Medical has allowed Blue Ridge Safety and Health to offer industrial sites a more comprehensive program in which to improve healthy outcomes.
